Changing VPLEX Local Group to Distributed Group

If you have VPLEX Local group and you want to change it to VPLEX distributed group

Select the cluster that you present LUNs to and navigate to Virtualized Storage ==> Consistency Group

Select Local CG and take the Virtual Volumes out of the consistency group

Navigate to Virtual Volumes

Select the Volume you just took out of the local CG

Press “Add Remote Mirror”

Select a “Device” from the remote cluster

Select “Add Mirror”

Select the stretched cluster “distributed” consistency group
