Datto Endpoint Backup v2 stuck at 99% or can’t complete

If you have an issue with Datto Endpoint backup not finishing the backup job, you need to un-install and re-install the software.

The following is the most clean one to un-install the software and re-install it again

  1. Run component uninstaller
  2. Delete the following directories after the un-install finish
    “C:\Program Files\Datto Backup Agent\”
    “C:\.datto”
    “C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Datto Backup Agent\”
  3. Reboot the PC or Server
  4. Run the following command from the “command prompt” not from “powershell”
    `msiexec /i https://cf-dl.datto.com/dba/DattoBackupAgentInstaller-x64.msi CLEAN_INSTALL=1′
